Seafood Dining Cayman Islands - Crystal ChartersChoose from a number of great restaurants in Grand Cayman whilst you enjoy your time on the water with us. Whether a laid back beach bar in the Cayman Islands is your kind of vibe or you’re looking for a fine dining experience, our captains will recommend the ideal location for what you need.

Great Restaurants in Grand Cayman

Kaibo Beach Bar

Kick back and relax with your toes in the warm sand at this beach front paradise. Here you can really get a taste of the Caribbean culture as you order the grilled fish of the day while sipping on their tropical cocktails. Additionally, you will find the Island’s ONLY outdoor wood-fired brick oven, so be sure to try one of their delicious pizzas if that’s your thing!

Every Tuesday evening there is a laid back BBQ buffet on the beach where you are encouraged to take off your shoes, shake your hips to live island music and test your skills at the limbo!

Walk ‘Upstairs’ to discover a more luxurious atmosphere that has been rightfully awarded Grand Cayman’s top restaurant for six years in a row! At Kaibo, you will also find ethically sourced coffee from the hills of Colombia and the largest rum collection on the Island!

Rum Point

Sitting on the North side of Grand Cayman you will find this laid back joint covered in seaside picnic tables, hammocks and colorful decor. Head on over to the Wreck Bar & Grill to grab a famous mudslide cocktail or two and stay to hear the story of how the first mudslide was invented at Rum Point! They also offer a large, selective wine list and specialty cocktails.

Here you can watch the chefs prepare your meal in Grand Cayman’s only show kitchen. Try the traditionally-styled Jerk Pork or signature Seafood Hot-Pot. Every Monday, there is a beach BBQ that happens where ages 5-11 eat free!

After a fun day on the water what better way to unwind than grabbing a nice frozen daiquiri from the ‘Dak Shak’ and relaxing in one of the many hammocks right on the beach!

Morgan’s Restaurant

If you love fresh seafood, then Morgan’s Restaurant is the restaurant for you. Here they serve local fish that are caught daily by their very own fisherman! Morgan’s is one of the best restaurants in Grand Cayman to experience ocean-to-table dining. This waterfront restaurant is part of the Cayman Island’s Yacht Club and has been newly renovated, integrating elegant towering ceilings with extensive water decks.

Richard and Jane, husband and wife duo, take pride in only using the freshest ingredients in their dishes. Famous for their 10oz Jerk Burger, this is any meat lover’s paradise! On our way through the canals, our captains can offer you a unique insight in to the fascinating world of the mangrove ecosystem. Morgan’s Restaurant is a great addition to any charter setting out from Kaibo or Rum Point. For those who enjoy great architecture, we can cruise through one of Cayman’s most prestigious neighborhoods, Crystal Harbor.

Catch Restaurant

Sitting next to Morgan’s harbor, brace yourself for mind-blowing views and mouth-watering delicacies. Serving some of the freshest seafood on the island, this colorful waterfront joint offers a diverse menu of seafood delights including Lobster Tostados, Tuna Poke Bowls, Cracked Conch, Mahi Mahi Schnitzel and homemade Shrimp and Octopus Mafaldine! Grab a seat on the oceanfront patio and enjoy the view or lounge out on their bar couches. Catch Restaurant is sure to provide you with a cultural Caribbean experience!

George Town Yacht Club

Head to George Town Yacht Club for a laid back casual dining experience where you can lounge by the pool while sipping on one of the many signature cocktails. Happy hour is every day from 5pm-7pm where you get 25% off all drinks! This is also a great spot for the whole family to enjoy as their uniquely designed pool allows kids of all ages to play!

Upstairs in the clubhouse you can relax at the private bar and balcony while enjoying the refreshing ocean breeze. Their menu offers a wide variety of dishes from gourmet salads, unique sandwiches, create your own pizzas, to fresh seafood and meat options and island style sushi.

Calypso Grill

With a great ocean view, outdoor seating on the harbor, refreshing sea breezes and daily fresh fish delivered to their dock, you are sure to experience an authentic Caribbean vibe at Calypso Grill.

Well known for its exquisite lunches and delightful dinners, let top-notch chef George whip you up a delicacy bursting with flavor! The menu includes a variety of dishes both local and international for you to enjoy. A trip to Calypso Grill would be incomplete without trying the Chef’s famous Sticky Toffee Pudding!

We were on a 7-day cruise and this excursion was the highlight of our entire trip. Can't quite put into words the experience but will say it was AMAZING!!! Swimming with wild sting rays, snorkeling... the reef, walking around Star Fish Point, all in 3 hours, was the perfect day and memories. DO NOT take the tour boats that pack in tons of people. This is well worth the extra money to have your own personal experience and you get to take in so much more of what Capt Vernon has to share with you. He was so knowledgeable about the sting rays and was able to find all kinds of sea creatures while snorkeling. Can't say enough good things about this trip.On a side note, I'm sometimes a little nervous on some of these islands and not knowing what you're getting into but I felt safe and secure which really makes it more enjoyable. It was just my daughter and me so I did appreciate the professionalism, safety and quality of the Captain and the boat.read more

Great experience with captain Vernon. He snorkeled with our 8 year old at the barrier reef and made her feel really safe. Even got to see a sea turtle for good measure. Really good value if you want... a private charter but don’t want to spend a ton of money.read more

Our trip was postponed in March 2020 so this day was a long time coming! We loved our boat, our crew and our whole experience. We didn’t estimate our arrival time correctly due the difference in... ship time vs local time but our crew came a half hour early to accommodate us so we didn’t have to wait too long. Oz and Joseph were both personable and fun. We had three generations with us and they were great at connecting with both our young adult kids as well as our parents. Our daughter was hesitant to get near the stingray but ended up kissing and holding her! Oz used the perfect amount of encouragement and persistence in getting her to do it. And she was so pleased that she did! Loved seeing the mangroves, snorkeling and the beach bar. Beach bar was great! The bartenders were personable and the beach beautiful! Not the best time to fish but we managed to catch a couple which was great fun for our older daughter! Starfish point was wonderful and we were treated to some delicious wings. Then to top it off, our younger daughter got to be the captain for a part of the ride back! She LOVED it! As we got close to the dock Oz called for our taxi and entertained us by driving amongst the beautiful homes so we didn’t have to wait on the hot dock. This was a very memorable day for our whole family. We appreciate the professionalism and the fun! Fantastic!read more

From our initial phone call inquiring about services to coordinate with our cruise ship arrival to our actual boating day, Crystal Charters provided all around top notch service. Alex and Ricky made... our 4 hour outing one to remember. Our family of 3, including our young daughter, were made to feel in good hands especially in the middle of a sudden rain storm on our way to Sting Ray Point. We realized once at Sting Ray Point that we had a special crew when they would find sting rays and bring them to us to enjoy and hold. Other charter groups were left on their own and it was clear while a fun experience for those groups, our experience was a bit more special.Thank you Crystal Charters! We are counting the days until our return to Grand Cayman and another Crystal Charters outing.read more
